BOUCHON FAMILY WINES
In 1977, 90 years after his French oenologist grandfather settled in Chile, and after studying oenology in Bordeaux, Juli Bouchon acquired the Mingre Estate in the Maule Valley, just 45 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean.
Fascinated by its granite soils, he invested heavily in the 50 hectares of this vineyard, half of which is dry, and in other special vineyards in the region, such as Batuco.
Made from 14 varieties of organically grown grapes, the wines of Bouchon Family Wines cover a wide range of styles and are among the most awarded in Chile.
