Since the early 50's grandfather Anastasis Kariofillis has been involved in viticulture in the prefecture of Evros. Shortly after 1980 he returned to the village of Doxa near the city of Didymoteicho and apart from cultivation, winemaking became the main occupation of the family. Today the younger generation of the family owns 120 acres of privately owned vineyard and a small but fully equipped winery. The vision is to blend tradition with scientific knowledge to produce identity wines.
