The roots of the family tree of the estate go back to the 16th century. Since 1978 it has belonged to the Borie family whose name has been closely associated with Medoc wines since the end of the 19th century. Among the wines of Pauillac, Grand-Puy-Lacoste is considered "a great classic", able to align its consistent character with the spirit of each vintage. The wines are the expression of their terroir, climate and grapes, but they also bear the mark of those who made them.
