The Samartzi family owns and cultivates vineyards in the communities of Askris (Valley of Muses) and Vagia, on the southeastern slopes of Mount Elikonas, in the region of Boeotia. The vineyards are cultivated with respect towards the environment, following the most modern methods of good agricultural practice. The philosophy of the family is to produce high quality, unique and "expressive" wines. Each wine has its own particular identity and sums up the best possible expression of the character of the vineyard and the variety (or varieties) from which it is produced. The main objective is to produce "terroir" wines mainly from Greek grape varieties with a strong orientation towards the philosophy of "one vineyard - one wine".
