KECHRIS WINERY
From a small family tavern, which made its own retsina in Thessaloniki before the war, the Kechri family establishes its own distillery - winery in 1954 in Kalochori. The new era begins in 1984 with Stelios Kechris and the baton will be passed on to Eleni Kechris in 2003, where she takes an active role after her studies in Bordeaux, France. With vineyards in the areas of Goumenissa and Amyndeon, the name "Kehris" has been identified with the upgrading of the wine according to the Retsina tradition, taking advantage of the rich family tradition. The winery's range of wines is accompanied by other wines of Greek and international varieties.
