It was only 80 years ago that Delheim Wines bottled its first wine (a Muscadel in small beer bottles)! Today, the 150-hectare family winery produces excellent wines from 15 grape varieties, with its flagship being the Bordolese red blend Grand Reserve. Under the guidance of a South African wine legend, Michael Sperling, the company pioneered wine tourism, Pinotage rosé production and sustainability, of which it remains a world leader, both through its sustainable wine production and its contribution to the ongoing support of the flora and fauna of its unique Simonsberg home.
