The vision of Château Brane - Cantenac, led by Henri Lurton, is to act with confidence and without compromise. Nothing is excessive and nothing is distracting. Everything serves a single goal: to make the best possible wine from what we consider to be one of the best terroirs in Bordeaux. The vines produce higher quality grapes as they age, becoming more robust and providing richer, more concentrated fruit. On the plateau, Brane's award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon vines, over 60 years old, give an unparalleled transmission of terroir to the grape. However, they are just as interested in preparing the "old vines" of the future as they are in preserving the vines from the previous generation - giving them all the care possible.
